Easter and Chism's B-day

Owen at school got to get his face painted like the Easter Bunny.  Owen thought he looked pretty good as the Easter Bunny.

Owen and Cooper both looked pretty handsome for Easter.  Cooper had a hard time keeping the hat and bow tie on but all and all they both were really good.
Cooper also started eating cereal.  He was a little unsure at first but picked up on it pretty quick and eats great now.

We had a great Easter.  Owen got to do to easter egg hunts one at my parents and at the Chism's parents as well.  He was pretty quick about it this year and got lots of easter eggs.  Owen loves hanging out with his cousins.
Grandma looks like she is eating Owen for Easter!  We went over to grandma and grandma's and dyed easter eggs.  Owen really enjoyed filling all the cups up with easter eggs.

This year Chism's B-day fell over Easter weekend so we had a very busy weekend.  We celebrated Chism's Birthday Saturday with all our families.

St. Patrick's Day

The boys are both getting so big.  Owen has been going to preschool and he loves it.  I started to get Owen signed up for kindergarten this past week.  I can't believe he is going to start kindergarten this year.  Cooper is now 3 months almost 4 he has started smiling and interacting a whole lot and loves his silly big brother.

It was such great weather on St. Patrick's Day that we decided to go to the parade.  It was a lot of fun and very warm.  Owen is a little stinker though and after about and hour asked if we were leaving soon.

Cooper's 2 months

Cooper is already 2 months time goes by way fast. He is a pretty good kid he started cooing and smiling and he loves to have baby conversations. Owen loves being a big brother some times a little too much. I took Cooper in for his 2 month dr. appt. he already weighs 13 pounds 3 ounces. The doctor said he is one solid baby. He is a lot bigger at this age then Owen was. I love being able to spend so much time with the kids. It is fun to see them both interact with each other.

Allison's B-day

Wow how time goes by way to fast.  My baby sister just turned 23 on January 19th.  I'm getting old.  We all went out to Buffalo Wild Wings it was a  really cool place.  We all had a great time.  Happy B-day little sister.

Owen and Cooper pictures

We went and had the kids pictures taken right after Christmas.  I miss my friends in Logan taking pictures of my kids.  I was not a big fan of the pictures at all.   We will try it again with someone from Logan that is for sure.  Cooper was a nightmare taking pictures the whole time he cried it was put the binky in and pull it out and try to get a picture.  The photograher asked me if Cooper was tired and he was not he is just a very temperamental kid that is for sure  He is very diffrent from Owen that is for sure.

Cooper.Owen and Christmas time

We were in a rush to try to get everything done before Cooper arrived.  We went out the Saturday before he was born and cut down our Christmas tree with both sides of our family.  It was a perfect day.  I think even at one point I was hot.  We roasted hot dogs out there and had smores it was a lot of fun.  We came right home and the next day but up the tree and all the decorations.  It all got done before the big day.
This is poor Cooper on  phototherapy.  It sucks to have to do that the only time you can hold him is when he was feeding or changing his diaper other than that he had to be on it all the time.  It was only for a few days but I hated every moment of it.
Owen has been the best big brother to Cooper.  Owen helps out whenever he can.  He likes to try to help when he is crying and sing a song or do a dance.  I think he is really glad to have him finally here.

After a week his cord finally fell off and he got to have his first bath.  He loved it.  He never cried he like every moment of it.

We have been trying to keep Owen busy and not feel left out as much as possible.  My mother in-law came over and helped him make some gingerbreads to hang.  I think he really enjoyed it.  We tried to do a gingerbread train but Owen decided to take a big bite out of the wheel of the train so it is still sitting here.  We will have to mend and try again.  We are so excited for Christmas.  We will try to keep updating as things happen.  Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas.

Owen Chance Nash is proud to present...his baby brother!

Owen has been the most excited about his baby brother. He sings to him to calm him down. We even caught him doing a little dance for his baby brother when Owen thought no one was watching.
Born Tuesday 11/27/2012 at 5:46 pm; Cooper Riley Nash weighed 7 lbs 3 oz and was 20 inches long. It was a long, hard labor, (just a little over 12 hours and considering Carrie insisted on a natural birth with no epidural). But eventually the little guy came along. The staff at the Mountain West Medical Center was excellent. Tooele has a great facility for labor and delivery and I would highly recommend them.

Cooper has had minimal health problems, he has 10 fingers and 10 toes. However, his bilirubin count is high, so unfortunately, we have had to put him under phototherapy. Other than that, things have been going smoothly.
Oh yeah, we also celebrated Thanksgiving last week and Owen had a blast.
