Cooper.Owen and Christmas time

We were in a rush to try to get everything done before Cooper arrived.  We went out the Saturday before he was born and cut down our Christmas tree with both sides of our family.  It was a perfect day.  I think even at one point I was hot.  We roasted hot dogs out there and had smores it was a lot of fun.  We came right home and the next day but up the tree and all the decorations.  It all got done before the big day.
This is poor Cooper on  phototherapy.  It sucks to have to do that the only time you can hold him is when he was feeding or changing his diaper other than that he had to be on it all the time.  It was only for a few days but I hated every moment of it.
Owen has been the best big brother to Cooper.  Owen helps out whenever he can.  He likes to try to help when he is crying and sing a song or do a dance.  I think he is really glad to have him finally here.

After a week his cord finally fell off and he got to have his first bath.  He loved it.  He never cried he like every moment of it.

We have been trying to keep Owen busy and not feel left out as much as possible.  My mother in-law came over and helped him make some gingerbreads to hang.  I think he really enjoyed it.  We tried to do a gingerbread train but Owen decided to take a big bite out of the wheel of the train so it is still sitting here.  We will have to mend and try again.  We are so excited for Christmas.  We will try to keep updating as things happen.  Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas.

Owen Chance Nash is proud to present...his baby brother!

Owen has been the most excited about his baby brother. He sings to him to calm him down. We even caught him doing a little dance for his baby brother when Owen thought no one was watching.
Born Tuesday 11/27/2012 at 5:46 pm; Cooper Riley Nash weighed 7 lbs 3 oz and was 20 inches long. It was a long, hard labor, (just a little over 12 hours and considering Carrie insisted on a natural birth with no epidural). But eventually the little guy came along. The staff at the Mountain West Medical Center was excellent. Tooele has a great facility for labor and delivery and I would highly recommend them.

Cooper has had minimal health problems, he has 10 fingers and 10 toes. However, his bilirubin count is high, so unfortunately, we have had to put him under phototherapy. Other than that, things have been going smoothly.
Oh yeah, we also celebrated Thanksgiving last week and Owen had a blast.
